How much money do you need to be happy? Do you think having millions in your pocket would give you the happiness you’re looking for? It might be for some, but for billionaire Jack Ma, it’s not about having more than enough.
Ma Yun, famously known as Jack Ma is the Founder and executive chairperson of multi-billion internet-based company Alibaba. He is one of the richest man in China with a net worth of 22.7 billion USD. Jack Ma is the first mainland Chinese entrepreneur to appear on the cover of Forbes.
Most of us will probably think this is all cracked up, but for the man who’s experienced both very low and very high incomes, this is his reality.
In his recent interview, Jack Ma shared his thoughts on wealth and happiness and stated that China’s happiest people are those earning US$3,000 to US$4,500 a month (currency converted).
According to him; “People earning US$3,000, US$4,500, or US$6,000 a month “can have a little house, and a car, and a family.”
“There’s nothing happier than that; that is a happy life,”
“Once you get beyond a few million, the troubles start coming up.”
